Tim Tebow Twitter Fight; ESPN’s Merril Hoge Rips Bronco’s Quarterback (VIDEO)

Tim Tebow is under Twitter attack. In a burst of tweets, former NFL player and ESPN analyst Merril Hoge questioned the second-year NFL quarterback’s accuracy and concluded, "It's embarrassing to think the Broncos could win with Tebow!!" Hoge took his case to SportsCenter shortly thereafter.

LeBron James, who has joined Tebow in the ranks of polarizing athletes, then came to the aid of the former Heisman winner, tweeting "How bout encouraging him and wishing him the best instead of hating!!"

Tebow himself had a terse turn-the-other-cheek response to Hoge, "Hey Merril ... 'ppreciate that."

All this comes as the Broncos have awarded Kyle Orton the starting quarterback position over Tebow.
