Facebook’s Facial Recognition Software
Facebookis trending after word spread that the social-media giant is launching facialrecognition software across the site.
Unlessusers opt out, Facebook will try to recognize and identify faces in photosuploaded to the site, so users can be more easily tagged. Google recentlyshelved a similar project due to privacy concerns.
Facebookusers upload around 200 million photos a day and the site hosts over 90 billionphotos and counting.
