Marilyn Monroe is trending on what would have been her 85th birthday, after new photos of the iconic starlet surfaced.
Anton Fury, an adult entertainment photographer, bought an envelope of negatives at a garage sale in New Jersey in the 1980s for $2 and only recently discovered they were of Monroe. He told the
, "I thought it was just some chick in a bikini."
The photos were taken around 1950, when Monroe was in her 20s. Also in the envelope were negatives of Jayne Mansfield.
Details of where the photos were taken and who photographed the two beauties are still unknown, though Fury is now working with LA-based photographer David W. Streets to solve the 60-year-old mystery.
