Notedtheoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking is trending after hedismissed the idea of heaven as “a fairy story.” In an upcominginterview with the Guardian , Hawkingsaid, “There is no heaven or afterlife … that is a fairy story forpeople afraid of the dark.”
Hehas come under fire from religious circles before, most recently after hisbook, The Grand Design , argued thatgod did not create the universe and that the Big Bang was a natural event thatcould’ve created everything from nothing.
