Americans are celebrating the death of the world’s most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.
Within moments of President Obama’s announcement that U.S. special forces had killed the
Al Qaeda leader in Pakistan, people poured into the streets to chant, sing and express their
joy that justice was finally served after a decade of trying to track down Bin Laden. Family
members of some of the three-thousand victims of the 9-11 attacks are expressing a measure of
closure, though President Obama cautions that Bin Laden’s death does not mean the end of the
terrorist threat.
