Lara Logan is trending becauseshe is scheduled to appear on 60 Minutes to speak about the February attack on her and her crew in Cairo.
The CBS News correspondentwas in Egypt covering the celebrations in Tahrir Square after President HosniMubarak stepped down when she was beaten and sexually assaulted by a largegroup of men.
In an interview with the New York Times
, Logan said that “foran extended period of time they raped me with their hands.”
Logan says the 60 Minutes
interview will be the only one she gives about theincident.
