, has checked into an undisclosed facility for treatment.
Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depression, is characterized by swings between depressive episodes and euphoria and is often triggered by prolonged stress. Bipolar disorder can be treated with medication and therapy, and Zeta-Jones plans to continue in her two films scheduled for release in 2012.
