GoDaddy is trending after CEO Bob Parsons posted a graphicvideo of himself killing an elephant in Zimbabwe.
The video shows Parsons tracking and shooting an elephant during a nighttime hunt. And itincludes footage of local villagers ripping flesh from the dead pachyderm thefollowing day.
Parsons justifies the killing by pointing out that elephantsare destroying crops and adding to food shortages. But PETA and conservation groups say there are nonlethalways to protect crops from rogue elephants. And callsto boycott GoDaddy are now echoing across the Twitterverse.
It remains to be seen whether this wave of GoDaddy outragewill surpass the controversy generated by the company’s now infamous bannedSuper Bowl commercials .
