OMG, OED! The Oxford English Dictionary is trending because the premier dictionary of the English language has added a new group of slang terms to its revised online edition.

Included are OMG (oh my god), FYI (for your information), TMI (too much information), and "muffin top," which the OED defines as "a roll of flesh which hangs visibly over a person’s tight-fitting waistband."



And the venerable OED has added a definition for the verb "heart", as in I "heart" you.

It's enough to make one LOL, which, incidentally, also made it in.
