The Twitterverse is mourning rapper Nate Dogg, who passedin his sleep at age 41. Born Nathaniel Hale, Nate Dogg was a four-time Grammynominee and major participant in the West Coast G-Funk sound, starting in 1991with then-unknowns Snoop Dogg and Warren G in the rap group 213. He wasfeatured on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic ,Warren G’s “Regulate,” Dre and Snoop’s “The Next Episode,”Ludacris’ “Area Codes,” and Eminem’s “Shake That.”
Dogg released a solo album in 2008 titled simply Nate Dogg . Snoop eulogized his friend,tweeting, “… all doggs go to heaven …”
