Alexandra Wallace is a UCLA poly-sci student who’strending after she posted a video to YouTube called “Asians in theLibrary.” In it, she makes some disparaging comments about Asian students,remarking that “the problem is these hordes of Asian people that UCLA acceptsinto our school every single year” and imitating a student by saying “Ohhh,ching chong ling long ting tong.”
The video has caused a shitstorm. According to the DailyBruin , Wallacereceived death threats following the rapid spread of her rant in the wake ofthe devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last week. The universitydeemed the video “repugnant” and Wallace has since publiclyapologized.
