If you haven’t heard, it’s time for South by Southwest.Thousands are descending on Austin, Texas, for a week of film, music, andinteractive presentations.
The 2011 film fest slate includes Pee-Wee Herman’s Broadway show; Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop
; and JodieFoster’s The Beaver
, starring MelGibson.
Credentialed attendees can see musical performances by more than 400 bands, andInteractive panels include talks with Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley, a sit-downwith comedian Reggie Watts, and a live performance by the Auto-Tune sensationsthe Gregory Brothers.
Those bored by the scheduled events can check out Jack White’s record storetruck and Apple’s temporary store to show off the iPad 2.
