claims to have discovered the ingredients in a photograph that accompanies a 1979 article about Coke in the
Atlanta Journal Constitution
. Producers on the show created the mixture, including coriander, cinnamon, neroli oil, and nutmeg oil, and then they invited a Coke historian to taste. Though the taste test went over well, a Coke spokesman says, “there is only one real thing, and that was not it.” Meaning the mystery surrounding one of the most heavily guarded trade secrets continues.
