Few things get the Twitterverse as excited as rumors about the iPad.
After almost a year on the market and nearly 15 million units sold, the iPad 2 might be just around the corner. According to the Wall Street Journal , production has already begun, and the new model boasts a front-facing camera for video conferencing, a faster processor, and a slimmer, lighter design.
iPad sales accounted for 17 percent of Apple’s $4.6 billion in revenue in the last quarter of 2010. Conventional wisdom, or rather speculation, points toward an April 2011 release for the iPad 2. Not surprisingly, Apple has no comment.
