Patricia Krenwinkel Parole: Charles Manson Follower Denied Release for Role in Tate-LaBianca Murders (VIDEO)

Charles Manson follower Patricia Krenwinkel was again denied parole for her role in the brutal Tate-LaBianca murders in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969. The parole commission said “these crimes remain relevant” and noted that it had received 80 letters from around the world urging that Krenwinkel be kept behind bars.

Krenwinkel admitted to stabbing one victim 28 times and to scrawling “Helter Skelter” in blood on a refrigerator. Charles Manson had told his followers that song, and several others off the Beatles’ White Album , was part of a coded prophecy of a coming apocalyptic race war.

The 63-year-old Krenwinkel is now the longest incarcerated woman in the California prison system and won’t be eligible for parole again for another seven years.
