JFK inauguration is trending on the 50
th
anniversary of the swearing-in of President Kennedy. On January 20, 1961, Kennedy gave one of the most memorable and one of the shortest inauguration speeches in history, coining the lines, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country,” which would come to define his presidency. Less than three years later, Kennedy was assassinated in a motorcade in Dallas.
