Apple Pulls WikiLeaks iPhone App From iTunes Store (VIDEO)

Just days after it went on sale, the WikiLeaks App has been removed from the Apple’s app store. The app promised “instant access” to top secret memos and confidential documents released by WikiLeaks, which has been under intense fire on two fronts: the site’s recent leak of U.S. State Department diplomatic cables and the arrest of founder Julian Assange on sexual assault charges.  Apple has not given a reason for removing the app, but it joins the ranks of Amazon, PayPal and Visa, which recently halted WikiLeaks-related business in response to the controversy.
