Heidi Jones’ wolf cry is topping the search charts. Last month, the WABC-TV meteorologist told police a Hispanic male dragged her off a jogging trail in New York’s central Park and tried to rape her. Luckily, she said, two on-lookers scared off the attacker. But police found her story unconvincing and confronted Jones, who reportedly confessed to making the whole thing up. The weather forecaster has now been charged with filing a false police report. Jones, who also appears on Good Morning America, has been suspended by WABC and faces up to a year in prison if convicted. Her attorney warns against jumping to conclusions.
