Over the past 24 hours I’ve received the full spectrum of possible Obama-centric calls. The first was from my mother, who wondered whether Obama would be sworn in using the Koran. She claimed that a news story a while back told her Obama was sworn into the Senate using the Koran. I explained that she had fallen victim to a nasty e-mail smear campaign.
The second was from a pre-recorded Adrian Fenty, the mayor of Washington D.C. He told me to vote for Obama in tomorrow’s Washington primary. Considering
he has barely campaigned for Obama
, the call was newsworthy enough to distract me from Fenty’s voice, which sounded like a robotic fifth-grader on speed.
