I recently wrote about the ongoing smog problem in China’s cities. On my recent trip, some of my colleagues were more forward looking and less concerned about looking silly than me and brought along their own face masks. But in retrospect, I wish I had known about the more stylish alternatives now being sold in China by the company Vogmask:

Though founded in the U.S. by former Burning Man participants, Vogmask seems to have found its ideal target market among locals and expats in smoggy China. There are a variety of styles and customized masks for your company, school, or conference are available. The company also sells kids’ masks:

I guess if you’re going to be breathing in cough-inducing, life-shortening pollution, you might as well look good doing it.
