There’s excitement and then there’s this. An Icelandic announcer named Gummi Ben absolutely lost his mind when Iceland scored a stoppage time game-winning goal against Austria on Wednesday to secure second place in their group and advance to the round of 16 in the European Championship.

The crescendo is something to behold.

This isn’t the first time this tournament that Ben’s passion has flared to such an extreme. As Business Insider wrote a week ago when Iceland drew 1–1 with Portugal, the “announcer went absolutely bananas,” when Iceland scored.

Iceland is set to face a talented English squad in the next round. Let’s hope our new friend Gummi still has his voice by then.
