As you can see, the statement does not address the question of whether Fogle is being directly investigated on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
Original post, 9:47 a.m.: The Zionsville, Indiana home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was raided early Tuesday by federal and state authorities investigating a child pornography case, news outlets in the area report. Investigators are said to be removing electronics equipment from Fogle’s home; he has not been arrested or charged.
The executive director of Fogle’s Jared Foundation childhood health initiative, Russell Taylor, was arrested in April and charged with possessing and producing child pornography. Authorities have not said whether the search of Fogle’s home is related to that case.
Zionsville is a suburb of Indianapolis.
