This World Cup has been full of a stunning number of thrilling and beautiful back-to-back goal sequences. It happened again on Wednesday when Greatest Player on Earth™ Lionel Messi scored this beauty in the third minute against Nigeria and the African champions responded with the equalizer less than 90 seconds later. It was Messi’s third goal of the tournament and Nigeria’s second. About 42 minutes later, just before halftime, Messi scored his fourth.
