When Brazil and Croatia square off 13 days from now, the painfully long four-year waiting period since a World Cup match last graced our TV screens will finally be over. We’ve come so far. Now, all we have to do is endure another 300-plus hours of down time before our month of soccer nirvana.
In honor of that slow drip of hours, minutes, and seconds leading up to June 12, here’s an old classic from Slate V befitting what’s sure to be an excruciatingly long wait.
