Today’s Impeach-O-Meter: An Incredible Anecdote About the Trump Family Trying to Do Math

The Impeach-O-Meter is a wildly subjective and speculative daily estimate of the likelihood that Donald Trump leaves office before his term ends, whether by being impeached (and convicted) or by resigning under threat of same.

A brave soul at an archival website called Factbased has compiled all of the appearances Donald Trump ever made on Howard Stern’s radio show; a brave soul at the Daily Beast has gone through them to listen for highlights (“highlights”), of which the best (“best”), in my opinion, is this amazing display of sheer intellectual firepower:

On an interview conducted on Feb. 27, 2006, Donald, Ivanka, and Don. Jr. can’t figure out the answer to what 17 x 6 is. “96? 94?” offers Don Jr. “That’s not a practical application, though,” adds Ivanka, refusing the question. “It’s 112,” chimes in Donald, who repeatedly insists that the answer is 112.

The answer is 102. They almost had it! (They didn’t almost have it.)
