Original post, 12:35 p.m.: Several individuals have been injured and at least one killed in New York City after a car drove onto a sidewalk in Times Square, reports say. While the incident is reminiscent of vehicle attacks in crowded pedestrian areas in Nice, France and Heidelberg, Germany, authorities do not appear to believe that the driver of the vehicle—who appears to have been taken into custody—hit anyone intentionally:
