Although we can probably safely assume Donald Trump’s wife is going to vote for Donald Trump, there is a huge gap this year in voting preferences between married men and married women. And an October YouGov poll found that 45 percent of married women said they were voting for Hillary Clinton while only 33 percent of married men thought that their wives planned to vote that way. There were also more married men who said they were voting for Trump (49 percent) than married women who said they believed their husbands were voting for the Republican candidate (41 percent). So there are, in fact, a significant number of couples that are not being straight with each other about their voting plans.
