I'm not going to pretend like I knew who Sid Miller was 20 minutes ago. But he holds the elected office of agriculture commissioner in Texas, a job that Rick Perry once had, and he's spoken at a Donald Trump rally. Which is to say: He's a figure of some political relevance. He also just tweeted and deleted the following:

Miller's spokesman's response:

"We're trying to get to the bottom of it. We think we've been hacked," said Mark Loeffler, communications director for the Texas Department of Agriculture, in an interview with mySA.com.

I can't say definitively that Miller wasn't hacked, but here's a headline about him from 2015:

So, yeah.

Update, 6:07 p.m.: The crack Miller communications team has updated its "we think we've been hacked" defense to the "we were just retweetin' stuff on the internet that we hadn't read, nbd" defense.
