Last week, Saturday Night Live did some evident last-minute shuffling to mention the leaked tape of Donald Trump bragging about sexual assault. This week, they had plenty of time to prepare and for the night’s cold open, the show skillfully mocked the “second and worst ever presidential debate,” as Cecily Strong’s Martha Raddatz called it. She went on to introduce the candidates: “Republican nominee Donald Trump and—can we say this yet?—President Hilary Clinton.”

Alec Baldwin as Trump and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton entered the town hall stage like two fighters and proceeded to fake each other out with handshakes, a nod to the icy greeting between the pair. The rest of the sketch went much the same way as it took direct cues from the actual debate, including many similar questions from the audience.

One of the most memorable parts of the sketch was, of course, when Trump was asked about the now infamous tape and he tried to change the subject: “Listen, what I said is nothing compared to what Bill Clinton has done,” Baldwin said. “And Martha, and Anderson, hold onto your nips and your nuts, because four of those women are here tonight. Four of them.” McKinnon proceeded to mock the very idea that Clinton could be rattled with a taunt like that: “Wait, I’m sorry. Who’s here? Mistresses? Bill, how could you? How will I go on with the debate?” she said before asking Trump to “Get real.” And adding: “This is nothing. Hi girls.”

Another highlight took place after an audience member warned “I’ve got a boring one” before asking a question about Obamacare. Clinton struggled to answer as Trump stalked her like a shark.

Then there was a hilarious Ken Bone appearance, but when Raddatz asked, “You’re not gonna turn out to be a little creep or something, are you?” He answered: “Maaaaybe?”

And finally when asked to name one positive thing about each other, McKinnon’s Clinton thanked Trump for his generosity: “Just last Friday, he handed me this election.”
