If you were wondering how Tuesday’s Vice Presidential debate is going to turn out and you were planning on tuning in to find out who won, no need! Waiting until the debate has even begun to declare a winner is so 1996. The Republican Party already has its post-debate analysis up on its website and—Ding! Ding! Ding!—we have a winner! “The consensus was clear after the dust settled, Mike Pence was the clear winner of the debate,” the RNC pre-postgame analysis reads on GOP.com.
The RNC, presumably, hit publish a wee bit early on its debate wrap-up. Here’s what else they divined from the future about the Kaine vs. Pence showdown.
Nice. Sounds like Gov. Pence did quite well. But was he the only winner? Not by a long shot. “The other clear winner from tonight’s debate was Donald Trump,” the GOP blog post reads. “His running mate perfectly shared Trump’s vision to make America great again and that message is resonating with Americans all across the country.”
