Metaphor alert!
Donald Trump is currently in Monessen, Pennsylvania, giving what has been characterized as a major policy speech on the subject of free trade. The speech is being given at a recycling plant that produces aluminum and steel. And for some reason rather than speaking in front of machinery or finished metal Trump has chosen a backdrop, as you can see above, of what appear to be dirty beer and soda cans. Or, in other words, garbage.
