At least four people were killed and five wounded in a mass shooting at an upscale market in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. CBS reported that police were saying that two suspected terrorists had been “neutralized” after the attack at Sharona market, while Haaretz reported that the suspects had been taken into custody.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed at Ben-Gurion International Airport from Moscow soon after the shooting and headed straight to the Defense Ministry headquarters near the shooting for consultations with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Israel Police chief Roni Alsheich, Shin Bet head Nadav Argaman and other officials.
CBS reported that 28 Israelis and two Americans had been killed in attacks by Palestinians over the past eight months while about 200 Palestinians who have been identified by Israel as attackers had been killed in that time.
