Watch Steph Curry Go Absolutely Bonkers, Even by Steph Curry Standards

After putting up 11 points in the first quarter of Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Stephen Curry didn’t score again until after halftime. It was worth the wait.

In Game 4 of the conference semis against Portland, Curry scored 17 points in a five-minute overtime period, the all-time NBA record. On Wednesday night against Oklahoma City, he scored 15 points in a two-minute span. In your face, last week’s Steph Curry.

Curry’s absurd scoring binge started at the 7:09 mark of the third quarter, when he swished a three thanks to an excellent (moving) screen from Andrew Bogut.

Nice form, Steph. Also, please watch that video again and enjoy Randy Foye’s face in the background. The Oklahoma City reserve, who’s standing on the bench in a white T-shirt, knows what’s about to go down.

Curry then made four free throws after Kevin Durant fouled him on a three-point attempt and got a technical for complaining to the refs. None of the free throws touched any part of the rim.

On the Warriors’ next possession, Curry faked Serge Ibaka into the air, shot another three, and stared down Ibaka as the ball splashed through the net. Did it hit the rim? It did not.

A few seconds later, Bogut stole the ball and Curry shot a very long two-pointer on the fast break. Another swish. The Thunder called timeout to stop the Golden State run. On the first Warriors possession out of that timeout, Curry swished another three.

Curry made eight shots during this sequence: four free throws, three three-pointers, and one two-pointer. None of them even grazed the rim.

The Warriors led the Thunder 88–68 at the end of the third quarter and are minutes away from tying the series 1–1. Game 3 will be Sunday night in Oklahoma City. Sports are fun.
