Update, 5:35 p.m.: The Trump campaign has disavowed Senecal, but in a misleading way.

Senecal did reportedly retire from his position as butler in 2009, but he was identified as the Mar-a-Lago estate’s historian (and photographed on its grounds) in a March New York Times piece. Senecal also told Mother Jones that he makes money at the estate by giving tours.

Original post, 2:32 p.m.: Donald Trump’s longtime personal butler—who has worked for Trump for three decades and was personally appointed as the the in-house “historian” at Trump’s Palm Beach estate by Trump himself—believes President Obama should be executed for treason, he told Mother Jones in a story published Thursday. The magazine’s David Corn found a number of rants to this effect that the butler, Anthony Senecal, had posted on Facebook:

To all my friends on FB, just a short note to you on our pus headed “president” !!!! This character who I refer to as zero (0) should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term !!!!!

He confirmed to Mother Jones that he wrote the post and says he stands by it. “I wrote that. I believe that,” he said.

Here’s more from Senecal’s account:

Looks like that sleezey bastard zero (O) is trying to out maneuver Congress again, if the truth be known this prick needs to be hung for treason!!!

And:

[W]ith the last breath I draw I will help rid this America of the scum infested in its government–and if that means dragging that ball less dick head from the white mosque and hanging his scrawny ass from the portico–count me in !!!!!

And:

Our current ‘president’ is a rotten filthy muzzie !!!!!

And:

look at the number of goat screwing muzzies he is degrading our government with !!!!!

And:

only a FEW Negroes and josh earnest will even remember him.

Senecal also wrote that Hillary Clinton is a “lying bitch.”

Earlier Thursday, Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan signed his name to a nice statement about how important it was that the Republican Party do its best to support Donald Trump.
