The Miami-Toronto Series Is So Terrible That the Ball Decided to Take a Nap

Miami beat Toronto 94-87 in overtime to tie their Eastern Conference semifinal series 2-2. This was the third of the four games to go to overtime, which means that fans have been treated to many bonus minutes of horrible basketball. In Game 4, the Raptors’ two best players shot a combined 6-28 from the field, and … just trust me it was terrible. In overtime, the basketball briefly went on strike, resting on the back of the rim after a layup attempt by Dwyane Wade. The immortal call from TNT’s Ian Eagle: “IT JUST SITS THERE!”

Sadly for the ball, it was eventually rescued and was forced to participate for the final minute of the game. Poor ball.

Game 5 of the Raptors-Heat series will be Wednesday night in Toronto. Do not watch it.
