Finally some good news for Dr. Trumpenstein: New York’s primary day is here, and despite his campaign’s many recent struggles Donald Trump is still expected to do very well in his home state. Per Slate campaign blogger Josh Voorhees, Trump should pick up somewhere between 65 and 87 of New York’s delegates tonight—not enough to get him back on track to reaching the Republican convention with a 1,237-delegate majority, but still a big win. He still isn’t looking like a great general election candidate, but it looks like he’s about to do what he needs to do to keep himself in strong position to become the nominee.
