The Trump Apocalypse Watch is a subjective daily estimate, using a scale of one to four horsemen, of how likely it is that Donald Trump will be elected president, thus triggering an apocalypse in which we all die.

Two groups weighed in on Donald Trump on Friday: The New York Post editorial board and a group of former Apprentice contestants who got together for a press conference. The Post, itself not the most dignified or responsible publication, endorsed Trump while suggesting he is too “divisive” and will need to become “better informed on policy, more self-disciplined and less thin-skinned” to win the general election. In other words, their endorsement was premised on the idea that Trump should stop acting like himself.

The six Apprentice contestants, meanwhile, denounced Trump for perpetuating a “campaign of sexism, xenophobia, racism, violence and hate.” The candidate responded by calling them “failing wannabes” who “just want to get back into the limelight.” This is a silly election.
