Looks Like New York Republicans Haven’t Forgotten About Ted Cruz’s “Values” Dig

Behold the reception—or lack thereof—that Ted Cruz received at Thursday night’s black-tie Republican gala in New York City:

And that cold, hard indifference from a second angle:

Donald Trump and John Kasich also spoke at the $1,000-per-head affair, and both men were greeted with a considerably warmer reception—and, you know, basic attention—from the 800 or so people in the room, according to reporters and attendees. Hmm, I wonder why?

In related news: Trump is the heavy favorite to win next week’s New York GOP primary. He’s currently up by 30-plus points in the RealClearPolitics rolling state average. Cruz, meanwhile, has been focusing much of his attention on other states with upcoming nominating contests, the names of which he hasn’t invoked to insult his opponents.
