Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski will not be prosecuted for battery for grabbing reporter Michelle Fields, authorities in Florida have confirmed. Unfortunately for Trump’s campaign, authorities in Florida can’t undo the damage caused by Trump and Lewandowski’s initial decision to claim that Fields had made the entire incident up, a claim that was later undermined by video evidence. In other news:
- A speaker at a Bernie Sanders rally used the ill-advised phrase “corporate Democratic whores” to refer to Hillary Clinton types.
- Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in his last game, but he had to miss a lot of shots to get there. Like, a lot.
