Well, here’s what happened today in Regular News:
- Scott Walker endorsed Ted Cruz.
- A Supreme Court split affirmed a lower court’s union-friendly ruling.
And then, in Crazy World:
- Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was charged with battery for grabbing a female reporter who says the incident left her with a bruised arm.
- Then the Trump announced that one of Lewandowski’s lawyers was a man named Kendall Coffey who once resigned his job as a U.S. attorney after being accused of biting a stripper.
- And then Trump implied on Twitter that Lewandowski’s actions were justified because the reporter, Michelle Fields, was carrying a potentially threatening object. (The object Trump is referring to appears to be a pen.)
Also, in what was actually the lightest, most uplifting story of the day, a man hijacked an EgyptAir flight but turned out not to have a bomb and may have done the whole thing so he could talk to his ex-wife in Cyprus.
Have a good night out there!
