The FBI acknowledged that it is investigating the Wednesday San Bernardino massacre as an act of terror; several outlets, meanwhile, reported that shooter Tashfeen Malik posted a pro-ISIS message on Facebook at approximately the time that the incident began. In other news:
- MSNBC and CNN crews traipsed live through the shooters’ apartment after their landlord opened it up, delivering essential news about things such as whether there was a pink childrens’ toy sitting around the place where some deceased suspected terrorists used to live. (There was!)
- Desperate Jeb Bush’s desperate super PAC is desperately buying 15 minutes of New Hampshire airtime.
- Joshua Keating remembered the time that al-Qaida celebrated America’s incredibly lax gun laws. Blergh.
- And the Washington Post wrote about documents from the Reagan and H.W. Bush presidencies which demonstrated that those administrations actually took the threat of global warming quite seriously. Sigh.
What a week, eh? Have a good weekend.
