Watch Pianist Play “ImagineOutside the Bataclan in Paris

On Friday, the Bataclan concert hall turned into a bloodbath when terrorists opened fire and took hostages at the famous venue where Californian group Eagles of Death Metal were playing a sold out concert. “We heard so many gunshots and the terrorists were very calm, very determined and they reloaded three or four times their weapons and they didn’t shout anything. They didn’t say anything,” Julien Pearce, a radio reporter who was at the concert, told CNN.

At least 87 people were killed at what is one of the best-known music venues in the French capital before police commandos launched an assault on the building. On Saturday, a musician arrived at the Bataclan with a piano attached to his bike and started playing John Lennon’s Imaginebefore stunned journalists. After the song was over, the pianist “became overwhelmed with emotion as he left,” reports ITV.
