If you had to guess which country's leader would commit a Holocaust-related gaffe that came across as a weird semi-apology for Hitler, you probably would've guessed every real country and some imaginary ones before guessing "Israel," right? And yet today Benjamin Netanyahu is in trouble for erroneously asserting that a Muslim cleric gave Hitler the idea to kill Jews in 1941. In other news:
- Joe Biden announced that he is not running for president. Hillary's poll numbers will benefit immediately.
- Bashar al-Assad made an unannounced trip to Moscow to thank Vladimir Putin for saving his regime.
- Paul Ryan kind of said that he might be willing to be Speaker of the House.
- And Russia's ambassador to the U.K. used a picture of an Indian-American actor in a satirical comedy about the idiocies of the war on terror to illustrate a tweet about ISIS.
Have a good day out there!
