Rand Paul's national political director, a Michigan resident named John Yob, alleged in an early-morning Facebook post Friday that he was punched in the face by Marco Rubio's deputy campaign manager at a bar in the area of a conference that's hosting a number of Republican presidential candidates.

Mackinac Island is an old-timey Michigan vacation destination which will be the setting for this weekend's Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference; six GOP candidates, including Paul but not Rubio, will be attending.
