St. Louis County police have released a surveillance video that they say depicts Tyrone Harris Jr., the 18-year-old who was shot late Sunday night in Ferguson by officers who say he fired at their vehicle. (Harris was taken for emergency surgery and was reported to be in critical condition as of Monday night.) The video appears to show a young man ducking from gunfire before drawing a gun of his own and running back in the direction he came from while others flee:

Some of Harris’ family members, the Washington Post reports, have said that they do not believe he fired at police. He had been arrested previously for possession of a stolen handgun and was out on bond, a local Fox station reports, adding that he refers to himself as “TY Glocks” on Facebook and has posted a number of pictures of himself with weapons.
