Watch Queen Elizabeth’s Husband Hurl F-Word at Photographer

Prince Philip once called himself an expert in “dontopedalogy,” which he explained as “the science of opening your mouth and putting your foot in it.” Well, Queen Elizabeth II’s 94-year-old husband has done it again. During an event to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the Duke of Edinburgh lost patience with a photographer: “Just take the fucking picture!” TV cameras caught the moment that showed him looking “visibly distressed” while “grandson Prince William laughed at his outburst,” reports the Press Association. The photographer didn’t seem very offended and seconds later can be heard saying, “eyes on me.”

Prince Philip is no stranger to gaffes (when he turned 90, the Australian published 90 of his best foot-in-mouth moments), but what may be less well-known is his historically bad relationship with press photographers, notes the Telegraph. “I go out of my way to line people up for the photographers,” he once said, “to make sure everyone in the group is in the picture, to make sure the photographers have got the shot they need … They’re never satisfied.”
