Police have released video of Dylann Roof’s arrest in Shelby, North Carolina; he was caught last Thursday some 13 hours after he’s believed to have murdered nine people about 200 miles away in Charleston. A florist spotted him on the highway and called her boss, who called the police. Police pulled over Roof’s car and apprehended him without incident, even though he still had the gun allegedly used in the crimes with him:
Roof’s sister’s fiancé lives in Shelby, but it’s not clear if that’s why he was there or where else he planned to go.
