A common joke you will see online is when a writer quotes a piece of information that is obviously, self-evidently bad news for a certain group or individual and then asks, faux ingenuously, “Is that bad?”
Here’s some information from an ABC News story about an internal Transportation Security Administration test in which undercover “Red Team” investigators posing as passengers attempted to bring “mock explosives or banned weapons” through checkpoints:
According to officials briefed on the results of a recent Homeland Security Inspector General’s report, TSA agents failed 67 out of 70 tests, with Red Team members repeatedly able to get potential weapons through checkpoints.
