A Bomb Went Off Outside a Colorado NAACP Office on Tuesday

A small bomb went off Tuesday next to the outside wall of a building that houses an NAACP chapter in Colorado Springs, Colorado. No one was hurt and damage was minimal:

The FBI is investigating. From the Denver Post:

Officials are seeking a “potential person of interest,” described as a balding white male, about 40 years old.

“He may be driving a 2000 or older model dirty, white pick-up truck with paneling, a dark colored bed liner, open tailgate, and a missing or covered license plate,” the FBI said in a statement.

The perpetrator of the bombing placed a can of gasoline next to the explosive device, apparently intending for the explosion to detonate the gasoline as well, but the gas didn’t ignite.
