Defending Wimbledon champ Andy Murray, who last year became the first British man to win the tournament in 77 years, was defeated decisively in a quarterfinal match today by 23-year-old Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov. From USA Today:

Dimitrov completely outplayed Murray on Centre Court, winning 6-1, 7-6 (4), 6-2 to reach his first Grand Slam semifinal.
The 11th-seeded Dimitrov broke Murray five times, including in the final game, to become the first Bulgarian man to advance to the final four of a major. It was his first victory over a top 10 player at a Grand Slam.

Murray's in the midst of a drought, having failed to reach the finals of a tournament in 2014. But he's still only 27 years old, the same age as Novak Djokovic and younger than Rafael Nadal (who lost his own Wimbledon upset on Tuesday to 19-year-old wild card Nick Kyrgios), so he should come back strong unless he has, like, tennis disease or something. Dimitrov, who's ranked 13th in the world, has won three tournaments since February, and this is the second time this season he's beaten Murray.

Meanwhile, the prince and Kate didn't quite know what to make of Murray's loss.
